  1. Hoi Hoi, Fritter here with an Unofficial Event. I have made a set of Tarot Cards (With great help from Cereil.) that I will be hiding in Kokoro. There will be 1 card in the following locations. The Gym, The Library, The pool, The 1st floor of the main building, the 2nd floor of the main building, and the 3rd floor & roof of the main building. (The Classrooms are considered parts of their floors. However I will not hide the cards in rooms that would be barred from entry such as bathrooms or changing rooms. Nothing wrong with hunting together however in order to claim the fabulous prize for this hunt you will need to submit a note card named "Name_Tarot". In this card you will need to write down where you found which card. It does not need to be exact its just to keep thing organized. Once you trade the note card in there will be a prize that has been made by the Fabulous Cereil! The cards should be visible while in first person however since its hard to take in account various sizes ill try and make sure its not hidden behind things. My goal with this is to provide new or old students a reason to do a little bit of exploring. Should you desire a copy of the cards please let me know id be glad to share them. If you have any questions as well please do let me know.

  3. Kokoro aims to provide an immersive anime-fantasy environment with the aesthetic of a slice of life visual novel. To achieve this end, we require from our guests to adhere to our standards with regard to their avatar appearance if they wish to participate on sim. For all guests, anime heads are required. As a guest spends more time on the sim, we expect them to work on their avatar to suit the aesthetic of the sim if they wish to be allowed to stay with us in the long term. Aesthetic Considerations Style Anime comes in many different styles, but Kokoro's is one of a visual novel. Think Koi-Choco, Toradora, Shuffle! rather than Bleach, Naruto or Dragon Ball Z. This style is about taking the human form and simplifying it to it's most basic and elegant lines, the shading is intentionally kept flatter and simpler - It's not about what you can add, it's about what you can take away. Height Kokoro is built to scale and so are its inhabitants. You should create your avatar to scale. We do make exceptions for fantasy races of characters that are smaller, as such characters fit into our VN Aesthetic, but not larger characters. Average Male/Female height by Country Head to Body ratio The key to making your avatar look older or younger is the head to body ratio. The larger your head is relative to your body, the younger you will look, whilst having a smaller head will make your character seem more mature. On Campus When you ride the cable car down from the town of Seiiki, the entire island is Kokoro's Campus Grounds. You should be dressed appropriately either as a student or as a staff member before riding the Ropeway to campus grounds. During your first few days it is acceptable to simply visit dressed how you are. However, you should begin working on an avatar appropriate for long term use at Kokoro. A guest may visit Kokoro Academy's Campus as an Exchange Student or an Exchange Teacher. Depending on which you choose, there are different aesthetic requirements. Students Bodies Students at Kokoro by and large will be younger and smaller than our staff and must not use mature bodies such as Maitreya, Jake, Legacy or other body designed for more mature proportions. Instead they should use bodies with less exaggerated features such as the Kemono and Kuroo. These bodies being 'anime by default' typically do not require changes to skin etc as they are designed to fit an anime Aesthetic to begin with, but you should avoid wearing skins that increase the detail density of the body or attempt to make the skin more 'realistic' with exaggerated highlights and shadows etc. Outfit On campus, all participating as students must wear School Uniforms or other school attire such as Gym Uniforms, School Swimwear etc. You are not required to wear Kokoro's Official School Uniform, even if you have been issued one, however you are required to wear *a* school uniform. Note that, if not wearing our official uniform, your character will be considered an exchange student. Please refrain from impersonating our students. Acts that can deceive such as copying the official school attire or claiming to be an enrolled student when you are not is frowned on and will cause you to overstay your welcome. Teachers and other Staff Bodies Teachers should be taller and more mature in appearance to students. We allow the use of bodies such as Maitreya, Jake and other realistic human avatars, however these bodies are not 'anime by default' in the sense that their skins are usually detail dense with intricately shaded details such as shaded kneecaps, elbows, hands and use of strong highlights and shadows. These skins are not suited for an anime avatar, and an anime skin will need to be found for the character that has more flat shading and reduces the amount of detail within the skin. Outfit Whilst teachers and staff do not wear school uniforms, they must wear smart business attire whilst on Campus.

  5. Notice Kokoro Academy is a Region in the virtual world SecondLife. We're not a real school, our staff are generally not qualified or acting in a professional capacity - It is all roleplay. Our sim is adult rated and although we do not make adult themes a focus of our sim, you may indeed encounter adult activities. You must be at least 18 years old to visit Kokoro Academy. ...With that said Kokoro Academy would not be much of an Academy without its students Our Aims and Commitments Kokoro aims to help its students make meaningful relationships and lead fulfilling lives. We work to provide Classes, Clubs and Events to our students, and a Roleplay environment with a cohesive theme full of activities and facilities that is fun to visit day in day out. We aim to be a students first environment, providing a community and a sense of belonging to our students. We want to grow with them and stick with them through thick and thin. Duties of a Student To be a student at Kokoro means to accept a duty of care both to yourself and those around you. As a student you are expected to practice self discipline to help you exercise better control of your day to day life and be in a position to help yourself and those around you. You have a duty to:- Carry out regular exercise and maintain a healthy diet. A healthy body will lead to a healthy mind. Participate in Clubs and Activities Our extra curricular activities are there to help you form meaningful relationships with your classmates, so you can build a support network and have friends for life. Study and attend lessons Our lessons are there to give you confidence and new skills that you can take with you in your life, beyond your time at our school. How do I become a student? What to do Do Make sure your avatar follows our Appearance Guidelines for students. Visit regularly and take the time to get to know our students on-campus, and let them get to know you too. Introduce yourself to members of the Student Council and the Captain. Register an account on the forum. We use it to organize classes, clubs and activities. Make yourself aware of Customs and Etiquette in our sim. Do not Ask us to make you a student We do not have a formal application process. There are no forms for you to fill out, our administrators and staff do not have the ability to make you a student either - Don't ask them. The Process Becoming a Student at Kokoro Academy takes time. We operate a Student Council which discusses these matters periodically. You will be most likely to be considered if:- During your visits to Kokoro, we feel you have made an effort to get to know our students, and let them get to know you and that you have made a positive impression on our students. You have made a positive impression on your Captain. Your avatar follows our Appearance Guidelines. During the first weeks of your visit, we will not discuss with you whether or not you can become a student, we consider this time for you to establish yourself, where we can get to know you, and you get to know us. After two or three weeks we will generally communicate with you about your relationship with Kokoro and provide feedback on whether or not you can enroll with us.
